How can I fetch additional information from the candidates (e.g. - expected CTC, current projects which they are working on, etc.) when they apply for the job(s) posted by me?

You can use the option of "questionnaire" in the job posting form and ask the desired questions for fetching additional info.

  1. Please login to your employer account & click here

    Go to the section of "Jobs & Responses" and click on the option of "Questionnaire"
    Note - You can create a questionnaire from the job posting form as well.
  2. For example, if you want to check if the candidate has an experience in C++, you can add a question(as mentioned in the screenshot) to your questionnaire. 
    Note - Marking a question as 'mandatory' means that a candidate would not be able to apply to the job without answering that respective question.
  3. Once the questionnaire is created, you can assign it to the desired job whilst posting or editing it.

Why am I getting no/less response(s) for a job posted on Naukri?

At times you may not get adequate job responses due to several reasons. Please check the below-mentioned important aspects which might have an impact on your responses.


1. Ensure that your job is live on the site of Naukri.
2. Give your job at least 4-5 days for getting a sufficient number of responses.
3. Ensure that you have mentioned an appropriate Job title (avoid multiple designations, abbreviations, etc.) & have written a comprehensive job description.
4. Specify maximum relevant keywords.
5. CTC should be at par with exp. & designation and should be visible to attract the candidates.
6. Check if ‘Functional Area/Role/Industry’ is selected appropriately.
7. Check how many questions are there in the attached questionnaire (if any), as more than 5 questions can create friction for a candidate while applying.
8. Check if you have marked all the questions as ‘mandatory’ to be answered. If yes, please make a few questions ‘optional’ to answer.

Despite all the above points, we recommend you to try the below-mentioned options to enhance the scope of applies.

Broadcast – This option can be used to share your job on the social & professional networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn for enhancing the visibility of your Jobs beyond the site of Naukri.

Job Branding - Attach elements like a photo/branding PPT/company logo (applicable for HV subscription only)

How can I prevent irrelevant resumes from landing into my inbox?

You can use the option of "Application Filters" which will enable you to define your relevance criteria & you would receive only the matching responses directly in the email box. You may set filters in two ways:

  1. While posting the Job - While filling up certain criteria in the job posting form (e.g. – experience, salary, location, etc.), you can switch on the toggle button next to set it as a hard filter. The summary of these filters would be reflected on the bottom right side of the form. 
  2. After posting the job - Click here to go to the page ‘Manage Jobs & Responses’.

Where should I check for the responses received for my job posting?

  1. Please login to your employer account and click here  
    Or
    Go to the section of "Jobs & responses" and click on the option of "Manage jobs & responses".
  2. You will be able to see all the jobs posted by you(or other users of your organization) along with the responses.

From where can I upload the logo for my job posting?

Please send us your company's logo (in any picture format- PNG, JPG, BMP, etc.) at support@naukri.com and we will get it uploaded for you 
Recommended size: 123px × 62px
Note- It takes around 8 hours for the logo to reflect in your account.

How can I change the company's profile which is currently reflecting in the job posting form?

Please log in to the 'super-user' a/c and Click Here

  1. Click on the option of "Company Profile".
  2. Click on the option of "Edit "and do the desired changes. Then, click on the option of "Save".

How can I check my Job posting's inventory available in my subscription?

Please login to your account & check the inventory from the "Recruiter home page"

Why does it show that my subscription is expired when I have recently posted a job?

This may happen as you would have utilized your job posting inventory (total number of jobs purchased by you) and hence you are getting this message. However, your job posting will remain live on-site for 31 days from the date of your job posting.                                         

How does the option of "Refresh" benefit my job?

Refreshing your job would extend its duration(for further 31 days) & enhance the visibility on the site. This in turn would increase the scope of applies. 
Please note, each refresh consumes a job posting credit from your subscription.

I am unable to add an email ID in the job posting form and getting an error reading as "You have added the maximum email IDs allowed. Contact your Relationship Manager or support@naukri.com."

You are getting this error because we do not allow more than 2 email IDs to be added in a 'Classified' Job posting form. If this is your ongoing requirement, we would suggest you contact your relationship manager for either buying an additional email ID or upgrading your current subscription to 'Hot Vacancy' where there is no limit in adding the number of email IDs.

I am unable to an add email ID in the job posting form & getting an error reading as - "Email addition can be done only by the account admin. Contact your account super user."

If you are getting this error message in your account, then you are currently logged in as a sub-user and the addition of an email ID can be done through the ‘super/admin user account.’ You can either log in from your admin user's account or write to us at support@naukri.com (with your username & the email ID to be added).                                      

How long will it take for my job to go live on the site of Naukri?

A job takes a maximum of 10 minutes to get live on the site of Naukri.

How to post a job on Naukri.com?

For posting a job, follow the below-mentioned steps. 

  1. Please login to your employer account -> go to the section of "Jobs & responses" and click on the  subscribed job posting (HV or classified)
  2. Fill up the form as per your job requirements & click on the option of "Preview & Post Job" at the bottom.
  3. Click on the option of "Post Job".

How can I remove/delete a job from the site of Naukri?

In order to remove the desired job(s), please follow the below-mentioned steps. 

  1. Please login to your employer account and click here 
    Or
    Go to the section of "Jobs & responses" and click on the option of "Manage jobs & responses".
  2. If you wish to remove multiple jobs in a go, select the desired jobs and then click on the option of "Remove" (as shown in the screenshot) Note - if you wish to remove multiple jobs in a go, select the desired jobs and then click on the option of "Remove" (as shown in the screenshot)
"Specify the reason for deletion and click on Remove. Note: The Job will be removed within 60 minutes from the site."
 

 

 

How can I post a job for a location which is not available in the given list of locations (in the job posting form)?

In case you are not able to find your desired location in the drop-down, please follow the below-mentioned steps.

Go to the section of 'location' and type your desired location. After typing, you will see an option to 'add it as a national or an international location'.
Add it to complete the step & showcase your desired location to the candidates.

How to add an office address in the job posting form?

To add your office address, log in to your super-user/admin a/c and click here 
Or follow the below-mentioned steps

  1. Go to the admin home page -> scroll towards the bottom and click on the option of “Product Settings” on the left side.
  2. Click on the option “Add Address” and save the changes. Note:  The addition of a number of addresses depends on the kind of job posting you have subscribed to. You can add 1 address for 'Classified Job listing' and multiple for 'Hot vacancy'.

 

 

How long does a job remain live on the site of Naukri?

A job remains active for 31 days on the site from the date of posting.

How can I generate the job posting report?

You may follow the below-mentioned steps.

  1. Go to the section of "Reports" and click on the option of "Job Posting"
  2. Specify the desired duration and choose the option of "job-wise".
  3. Click on the option "generate report".
