Career Path :
8 month training at the Institute > 4 months training on ship as Trainee Marine Engineer > 6 months training on ship as Fifth Engineer > 4 months preparatory Course on shore for M.E.O. Class IV Exam > Post successful clearance of M.E.O. Class IV Exam, employment on GES vessels as Fourth Engineer.

  • Rs.1,10,000/- p.m. (approximately, subject to applicable TDS)

Bank Loan :
This course is approved by 'CREDILA'(An HDFC Ltd company) for education loan. However the responsibility will be borne by the student for compliance of documents and payment of fees.

The offer of admission for Pre-Sea Training and Shipboard Training by GES shall not be considered as guarantee of employment on completion of such training. However, in the event of GES offering employment after obtaining the MEO Class-IV examination, the candidate shall agree to be bound to accept our employment and serve on our vessels for a period of three years. This is a requirement as per the Gazette Notification S.O.2132 (E) issued on December 12, 2007 by Govt of India.
